Suits: The Clothes Make the Man 1998
wool and applied patches

The Art Guys presented themselves as “human billboards.” In a pair of conservative Oldham designed suits, they attended public events for a year. Having leased space on the suits to advertisers whose logos they displayed, they, like stadiums, gleaned sponsorship. Here wearing the clothing itself becomes a means for making a living and our culture of designer labels is highlighted.
